In this episode of the Renegade Report, Herc & Nolebra Kai recap the Noles thrilling 31-27 victory over Notre Dame.
After a bad first half which included the worst decision and throw of his career, Jameis Winston went 15-16, 181 yards and a TD in the second half to lead the Noles to victory. Rashad Green had 8 catches for 108 yards and a touchdown. Travis Rudolph had a breakout performance with 6 catches, 80 yards and a touchdown. The running game struggled all night but Karlos Williams was able to score 2 touchdowns in goalline situations.
Miscommunication in the secondary and subpar play from the backup defensive tackles plagued the defense all night as they gave up 470 yards of offense to the Fighting Irish. As expected, we saw Charles Kelly dial up a lot more pressure which resulted in some big plays for Notre Dame but also resulted in turnovers and key stops for the FSU defense.
Despite another week of distractions and trailing 5 different times during the game, the Noles once again put their championship resolve on full display and remain undefeated. That means despite the polls and narrative, FSU controls their own destiny to the College Football Playoffs.
