Noles Sloppy In Blowout Victory Over Bethune Cookman

In this episode of The Renegade Report, Herc & Nolebra Kai recap the Noles 54-6 victory over Bethune Cookman

Telvin Smith

Despite the lopsided score, FSU was sloppy on both sides of the ball.  Offensively, Jameis Winston overthrew some open receivers, failed to check the ball down a couple of times and didn’t properly slide protection on a few occasions.  Rashad Greene and Kenny Shaw both dropped sure touchdown passes and James Wilder, Jr. fumbled in the redzone.

The defense failed to force an opening drive 3 & out for the third straight game and they continue to allow teams to have early success running the ball.  Yesterday the open field tackling was sub par at best.  How does the defense adjust if Tyler Hunter is lost for any length of time?  We also wonder aloud if it’s time for Marcus Eligwe or Chris Casher to replace Dan Hicks in the starting lineup.
