In this episode of the Renegade Report, Herc. & Nolebra Kai recap the Noles 24 – 19 victory over Florida.
A week after playing his best game of the season, Jameis Winston played the worst game of his career. He completed 12 of 24 passes for a career low 125 yards and a career high 4 interceptions. However, Winston’s two 2nd quarter touchdown passes to Nick O’Leary capped a 21 point rally to overcome a 9 point deficit.
That rally started with Terrence Smith’s 94 yard pick-six following Jameis’ third interception in the 1st quarter. The defense played an excellent overall game by holding the Gators to 282 total yards and only 113 rushing yards. The most important stats of the game were the defense forcing the Gators to kick 2 field goals on 3 redzone attempts and only allowing Florida to score 6 points off of Jameis’ 4 interceptions
After another 12-0 regular season, Georgia Tech is all that stands between FSU, a 3rd consecutive ACC title and birth in the College Football Playoffs.
