Jameis Winston

The final week of fall camp concluded with Jimbo Fisher announcing that redshirt freshman, Jameis Winston will be the starting quarterback for the 2013 season.  While this announcement doesn’t come as a shock, most fans don’t realize just how close the battle between Winston and Coker really was.

We also discuss more aspects of Coach Pruitt’s defensive scheme.  Although the word multiple has been thrown around since 2010, this season will be the first time that all aspects (fronts, coverages and personnel) of the defense will truly be multiple.

Lastly, we discuss the 25 Most Important Seminoles for 2013.  Defensive end, Dan Hick had the biggest jump moving up 24 spots from the spring rankings.  Surprisingly, Jameis Winston was voted as the most important player this season.
