4 Keys To A Successful Camp

1. Develop an offensive identity that suits BOTH Jameis Winston and Jacob Coker
Last season was the first time since Jimbo Fisher arrived at FSU in 2007 that that starting quarterback started every game of the season.  In those seasons where the backup quarterback was forced to play, Jimbo was forced to tweak the offense because the skill set of the backup didn’t mirror that of the starter.  That will not be the case this season.

2. Defense – Know Your Personnel
One of Herm Edward’s (former NFL head coach) favorite sayings is “KYP – Know Your Personnel”  With the various personnel packages in Jeremy Pruitt’s defensive scheme it’s imperative that he establishes roles for each of the players he expects to be in the defensive rotation.  More importantly, he must determine which players are physically and mentally capable of playing multiple positions.
