Sloppy Field, Sloppy Play, Still Undefeated

The field was sloppy and the play was sloppy at times but FSU still found a way to remain undefeated thanks to Roberto Aguayo’s game winning field goal.

Despite the stats and weather conditions, Jameis Winston played his best game of the season. His passes were accurate, on time and he constantly checked the offense into the right play. Unfortunately, his receivers dropped at least 5 passes including one that resulted in an interception.

In addition, those dropped passes prevented FSU from gaining a 2 possession lead which would’ve helped the defense by forcing Boston College to pass the ball more; something they aren’t comfortable or very good at doing. Instead, the Eagles were able to shorten the game by running 51 times against the Noles struggling rush defense.

Expect to see the Florida Gators use a similar gameplan as they attempt to spoil FSU’s National Championship aspirations in Will Muschamp’s final game as their head coach.
